Q: When is the application due?
A: The application, official transcript, and essay are due June 6th and November 14th.
A: High school seniors are be eligible for a Knowlin Grant Foundation Scholarship.
An applicant must
  • Be a United States Citizen
  • College undergraduate enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Full-Time or Part Time Status
  • 3.0 minimum cumulative G.P.A
  • High school senior students must be accepted and enrolled at an accredited college or university

Notes: The GPA and Major varies depending on the type of scholarship


Q: Can the KGSF Foundation order my books online and ship it to me?

A: No, the award is mailed directly to the school in the student account


Q: Are there age restrictions for applicants?
A: No. This program has no age restrictions. The applicants must meet the requirements of the scholarship he/she is applying for.

Q: If I am awarded the scholarship, do I receive financial support every year?

A: No, The Knowlin Grant Foundation Scholarship award is disbursed to recipients who apply each semester.


Q: Do you grant extensions for late applications?

A: No, we are unable to grant extensions for late applications or accept late applications.

Q: How will I know if my community college or two-year institution is eligible?

A: Licensed and accredited community colleges and two-year institutions in the US are listed in two locations:

  1. The Higher Education Directory, published by Higher Education Publications, Inc., and available at most libraries.
  2. The US Department of Education's Website.

Q: Are Scholars allowed to receive other grants or scholarships and still qualify for the Knowlin Grant Foundation Scholarship?
A: The Foundation permits Scholars to receive other awards
